The State Government plans a multi-million-dollar upgrade of Manly Warringah primary schools to cope with more pupils.

One of the biggest schools on the Northern Beaches, Harbord Public School will be gaining a new building of 18 classrooms, a library and learning areas under the $8 million redevelopment plans.

Manly Vale Public School is also applying to build a new school on its current site in a strategic two-year overhaul.
